4 Weeks until Christmas; Gifts for Her.

It's hard to believe that we're in the final month of 2016, but here we are, and so let the countdown to Christmas begin.

I always used to think that Christmas was definitely something for children, but int he last couple of years, there is no denying the excitement and pure joy I get in December. Perhaps it is the increase of sparkle on the street; the anticipation of having some well earned time away from the office to spend with my favourite people; or perhaps it is the huge upturn in events, and the opportunity to dress to feel like a princess on a more regular basis. Either way, Christmas is no longer just for children that is for sure.

So in the spirit of things, it seems rude not to embrace this and let my excitement overflow onto the blog. With only 4 Fridays until Christmas, and a whole lot of Christmas shopping to get through, let's kick this festive season off with a gift guide; a gift guide for "Her", whomever she may be. When I get asked what I would like for Christmas, I am always stumped, and always think that a Wishlist, a gift guide to jog my memory of that thing I saw a couple of months ago, would be sooo handy.

For me, Christmas Day is not about sequins, and wearing a super glamorous outfit, but mixing comfort with a bit of a dressed up twist. For me, this is jeans, an oversized knit and some statement shoes or boots. A win win!

Who doesn't love those product selection boxes? Baylis and Harding is a continuing firm favourite - the wash bag being the staple joining me on my travel with me throughout the following year,

This year i seem to have began to embrace adulthood - this may seem crazy as I'm 25, but something has certainly changed this year, and candles, along with home scents, have become a bit of an obsession. While I would love to be able to fill our home with candles by Jo Malone & Diptyque , this is not feasible to our lives at the moment. So here are my picks of the highstreet, which will not break that bank or leave relatives looking at you with raised eyebrows. Also be sure to have a peek in Primark - their home section is looking good at the moment, with many items perfect for gifts this Season!

Every year, Muv (my Mum) has bought me some form of nightwear, whether that be a dressing gown, pyjamas or slippers. Such a simple gift, yet something so useful and thoughtful; and nothing better than snuggling into at the end of a long Christmas Day.

A somewhat cliche festive classic for a Christmas gift, but still a favourite of mine.

It has become tradition for Christmas to be the only one of year where I will pop perfume on my wishlist. Partly for the limited edition festive bottles, and partly because the gift sets are usually at their best; moisturiser being included in the gifts is a god send!

Girls love underwear; well most girls anyway! For me, underwear is the thing which can make me feel put together and stylish, eve if I am wearing a slouchy T-shirt and jeans. Good, delicate, satin, lace of silk underwear (whichever your preference) is the basis to feeling fabulous in any attire.

Not only does jewellery often complete an outfit, it can also carry great sentimental value, and for that reason can make a perfect gift for Christmas (or any time of year for that matter). And let's be honest, as satisfying and empowering as it is to buy yourself jewellery, nothing can match that magic when you open jewellery as a gift.

And so there it is; happy Christmas shopping!
